Oh I definately believe.....i'm very open minded and too many people have seen to many things for there not to be something to it. I bought an old farm house and the man that owned it before me killed himself in front of the family. I have seen him and even smelled his pipe.....I described him later to one of his daughters and she said i was right on.....it is a scary thing to go through....

I grew up in a very haunted house. Nearly everyone that came to the house had some sort of experience. But they were never negative experiences. With the exception of having trouble sleeping in one room of the house. I can tell you they were kids and they were playful.
My mom used to always call out in response like my brother or I had called to her first. We used to joke that she was crazy. Then one day I was home alone with her and I heard someone call out 'mom'. She leaned into the hall and said 'yes'. I was like oh wow I didn't call you but I heard it that time.

I'm fascinated but scared to death at the same time. I believe in paranormal. I believe there are good and bad spirits and I often ask for a white light of protection through which nothing negative can penetrate (and I haven't actually had a paranormal experience).

I would so like to communicate with my mom who has passed but I'm afraid at the same time. I think she knows that too and wont come until she knows I can handle it.

You should try an open seance... Sounds creepy but local groups will hold one and its usually about $10 and if there is a message out there for you it will come- i had one and didnt even know it
  • I actually like watching Ghost Hunters, whether it's real or not. I have never had an experience, but i like to get my imagination running and then spook me out. I also like going to haunted houses.
  • I love watching paranormal shows. They fascinate me, but one thing I hate about them is the music in the background. I would prefer to just listen to the people on the show. When they stop talking then the music gets louder, and it becomes hard to hear any paranormal noises. By the way, I've had some paranormal activity in my own house. Sometimes it scares the crap out of me.
  • I have honestly had to many to list it would take me hours! I used to go on the hunt for these type things. I have seen, experienced and heard some very unexplainable things.

Never experienced it myself, but my friend told me a story about how his father was very sick in the hospital, he was at homecsleeping on the couch when he was awakened by a blue orb floating in the room, he said e knew then that his father has passed, soon the phone rang, his mom answered it, it was the hospital calling to say his Dad had died.
  • I choose not to mess with the whole demonic stuff.

Anyone like watching shows about paranormal?
    Any experiences?
I have a hard time with the shows on tv figuring out what is fake/not lol!
But have always been open "spiritually"

Here's a handy tip for helping sort out the fake / not shows.

If it's a show about the paranomal, it's fake.

A+ reply. That's like a Jimmy Carr quote I love, something along the lines of: "Here's a tip to figure out if your house is haunted: It isn't."

In any case, I don't believe in the paranormal.

I LOVE the paranormal activity films! As much as they say its based on a true story, i actually think some parts have been edited to make it seem real if yah get me?

Ive not seen any paranormal things happen in my house as of yet! But if im home alone one night like my mum has gone out and my little brother is upstairs in bed, im sat downstairs on my own watching tv, and out livingroom door is next to our tv and sometime i just see something move past the hallway in the corner of my eye! I dont know whether this is just my eyes or whether its like an old family member of mine that past away many years ago, or someone that past away who used to live in this house?! I find it very strange! I get freaked out, I tell my mum and she just thinks im off my head!

Also another thing that i find happens quite alot particularly in my bedroom - little things get moved around! e.g - my hair brush will be on my draws, next thing i come in my room to find it on the floor! and my mum and brother never go in my bedroom. And if they did they wouldnt put my hair brush on the floor!! Soo just little things like that, that happen in my house. Its weird how it all happens in my bedroom, or when im home alone! =/

I find the shows and books very interesting. My boyfriend thinks that I am strange when it comes to me watching shows about hauntings. He calls it my “porn” lol. However interesting I may find it I would never want to experience any of it in person. I'm too much of a chicken!

    non-believer?

I'm a non believer that anything authentic would ever make it to TV. Those shows are faker than Jersey Shore.

I am a very sceptical and logical person. I don't believe in god(s), angels, fairies etc and I would never describe myself as "spiritual". I think all the TV psychics are horrible con artists.

I have had weird experiences that I can't explain, as have plenty of perfectly rational people I know. That doesn't make them "supernatural" or "paranormal". In my opinion there is a scientific explanation for everything. It's possible that human science is not yet at a level where it can explain everything, but that does not mean a rational explanation doesn't exist. People have always attributed things they don't understand to supernatural forces.

I've never had experiences where I actually saw a ghost, but I have feelings sometimes like I'm being watched.

As a child, I was always afraid to sleep in my bedroom. I felt like someone was standing at the bottom of the bed looking at me. I never saw anything there, but I would pull the covers up around my nose to hide. I was also afraid of the stairway outside of my bedroom door and would run up and down it at nighttime. It wasn't until later that my mother pointed out that every day at 1pm, if you listen, you can hear footsteps on it, heading towards my bedroom!!!! It wouldn't be surprising that my parent's house is haunted, since it was built in 1857, several people died there, and during the Civil War, the sons fought for both sides. We even found Civil War buttons and arrowheads in the yard!

Since moving into my new house, build in the 1980s, I always feel like someone is looking down from the loft area. The man that built the home died shortly after it was completed, so I assume if there is a ghost, it's probably him. Again, I've never really seen anything.

I'm not 100% sure I believe in ghosts... all I know is that the shows spook me enough. If I actually saw something I'd pee my pants!*LOL* My one friend goes ghost hunting and invited me to go, but I'd be too freaked out!!!!!
