I would really like to lose 10 lbs, I really keep trying to eat healthy and get a good diet in so that would happen, but it is harder then it sounds!

Me too! I would like to lose the ten I have gained since covid lockdown started! Feeling like a bit of a lump these days. I eat healthy but I eat too much. I like cooking and baking which is becoming a problem Lol! My pants are getting tight now0

As you don't have much to lose, expect it to take a while. Enter your info into MFP's set-up and set it to lose at a rate of half or a quarter of a pound a week. Eat that amount of calories. Weigh everything you eat and drink. Track any exercise as accurately as you can and eat some of your exercise calories back as well.
It's easier if you carry on eating the foods that you like, but in smaller portions.6 -

There is no try. There is do or do not.

Are you counting calories? Just eating healthy and getting a good diet doesn't do anything if your calories in are higher than than your calories out. I got 40 lbs overweight eating healthy and getting a good diet.6 -
Love this quote! One of my favorites! Another one I used to use all the time:
"Losers always whine about trying their best." Sean Connery, The Rock
(There's a second line to that quote that I will refrain from quoting here...
As far as the OP's question, since you are on MFP, then use the tools right here! But with only 10 pounds to lose you have to be right on target and tight with your tracking. Weigh and measure everything that goes in your mouth! You won't have the margin of error that people with more weight to lose have.
Everyone always talks about how the last 5 or 10 pounds are the toughest because they are! You really have to be on point to get those last stubborn pounds!
Good luck!3 -

I had to go look up the rest of the quote. Good call. :laugh:4 -
I'm stuck laughing at Yoda saying the quote from the Rock instead of his usual line.3
