                    What is more important
Eating to your calories in a deficit consistently(any foods).
Eating to your calories in a deficit consistently(healthy foods).
How to look for trends on the weighing scale week to week/month to month rather than the number on that given day.

            Both things are equally valid.
Download a weight trend app which allows you to see the trends. For a lot of people its helpful to stop worrying so much and second guess the process6

OP, I'm curious: why do you create a new username every time you come back? This must be about number 7 or 8 over the last 2 years. Why not just login using the previous profile?11

eating foods that keep you satiated and staying under calories for weight loss. Balancing healthy and fun foods in a way you could do for the rest of your life. Thats important.3

Deficit is for weight loss, healthy foods are for health and nutrition. It's up to your priorities, but ideally both.
@Redordeadhead can't speak for the OP, but I used to do the same thing and came with a new profile every time I "started" again. Incidentally, once I stopped doing that and started seeing longer-term trends, including the times of MFP inactivity and weight gain, I started taking more responsibility for my actions and what they caused in terms of health and weight and making more consistent choices. Before that, I didn't have the guts to own up to my past mistakes and always wanted to just start fresh.3

From time to time, you will find users come here, make an account, ask a lot of questions that dont really seem to apply to anything particular to themselves.. then they never come back and 2 days later they ask another question.. then they delete after a bit and come back and do it again.. lol
 Like this thread for instance..
He asks how to see the weighing trends week to week and month to month
I answer and his next reply is he has a weight trending app.
So the question didnt apply to him at all lol6
