    liquor stores here are still 'essential', and the reasoning kinda makes sense - many people are dependent - so to not further burden the health care system right now 🤔

    ...but my suspicion is that they (liquor/beer stores) are all government run here - so they want the profits
    ...and with all the expelling of billions of dollars out right now, gotta take it in where you can

    Same where I live. Liquor store are deemed essential,with reduced hours. The same government branch runs gaming and you know it absolutely killed them to shut down the casinos

    What could possibly go wrong with people sitting nuts to butts at slot machines,hacking and coughing ?
