    The only thing that causes weight loss is a calorie deficit. You do not have to workout to lose weight.
    Log your food accurately and eat the calorie goal that MFP gave you.

    For low impact exercise, I use a rebounder/mini trampoline. If you have a pre-existing condition, you should really just call your doctor and ask them what they suggest to get started. Mine suggested measuring intake (like the poster above suggested) with intermittent fasting - it's working really well for me. Hope it helps!
