I second that!3 -
Not enough time to eat during the day. Not enough protein-rich foods. Not enough yummy foods.2

I have a big appetite, I can easily eat 4000 to 5000 calories in a day if I am not moderating myself.6
-
I have a huge sweet tooth and love to snack throughout the day if I am not careful/tracking

All of the above 😕2

The psychological desire to eat for comfort when I'm not physically hungry.6

Hunger.
Eating too fast
Eating when stressed
Eating when bored

All of the above.
End the day with a big cheesy lasagna or BBQ !0 -

At this point (long term maintenance), mainly the implication that there needs to be some kind of drama involved.
I really hate drama.
Well, that and the fact that my favorite craft beers are the hearty, bitter IPAs, and they tend to have such a high ABV that a li'l ol' lady can't really dive in and enjoy them often: It makes calorie Tetris more difficult, and driving inadvisable.3 -
i mostly just hate the constant emotional and mental struggles i have to go through while i do this..
ive been so moody the last couple days ive just wanted to tell everyone to go *kitten* themselves and quit my job, cut my phone off, my net, and just lay in bed and not leave. or just set the damn place on fire.. one or the other.

I just like to eat all the time, lol, and I also have a sweet tooth. I eat a vegan, mostly whole food diet so I feel like I'm fueling my body with the right stuff, but sticking to calorie goals is always the most difficult part of my weightloss journey.1

My current struggle is my energy management. I seem to have found myself in a very active phase of my existence after years of being sedentary and I am having a hard time recognizing when I need to eat more food. My fitness watch does a good job if my activity is exercise related but lately I have been house/lawn active which has thrown a new wrench into my calorie needs.
It sounds like a good problem to have but feeling poorly from low energy is quite miserable. I am learning I can no longer weight for the scale to help me determine my TDEE because I do not have all the fat stores to protect me like I once did.3 -
Emotional eating resistance while going through a rough divorce. Really aware of intense emotions that drive my desire to self medicate (sabotage) with food. It’s a struggle but not giving in to toxicity in my life... with partners or food relationships... both have to be really worth it.5

Eating waayyyy to quickly for one. The other thing I struggle with is the "go on then" culture in the UK (moved here last year) you offer everyone tea and cookies, or cake etc. and everyone offers you some. Usually they ask a few times until you say "oh go on then I'll have one'0

Opening my mouth. Inserting food.7

Peanut butter1

Eating at night, sweets, and alcohol. The party is always at my place.2

Waking up a few hours after going to bed and eating food is my current struggle. I try to factor that into my calories by reserving some for frozen fruit, but I get cravings for bread and that does me in. It's a work in progress.0

Wine. I really like wine. And cheese. Cheese is good food, but so heavy. Difficult to have one bite.
And wine, too.0 -
I hadn’t seen chocolate pizelle cookies in years. Ran into some last week, thought “Oh ho!!!, acceptable calories!”, reverted to Old Me and bought every last packet.
Was still in Old Me mode on the drive home and scarfed down three servings.
Now they are sitting my pantry, beckoning to me. Can’t bear to give them away, can’t trust myself to open them.
Ditto the kefir cake I made yesterday . Stood at the counter joyfully stuffing two servings into my face.
My biggest struggle is rinse and repeat. ^^^
I can shuffle calories and make it work, which is good, but I still get frustrated with myself for caving in, which is bad.
Wish I could find a common denominator. Have a box of Trader Joe’s Lemon Thins I would normally eat in one sitting. Have been very mindfully getting 3 every night for my evening lemon pudding and not touching the rest.
Chocolate, I suspect YOU.1 -

I’m with you on that. I’m more active during lock down, been doing some longish bike rides that need proper fuelling else I feel quite unwell after. And want to eat all the things. Maybe I need to get a fitness watch. I’ve resisted the idea before, not sure why.0
