May 22: 145.2 - Haven't been on track lately, quarantine is catching up to me I guess. I used to set goals to lose x amount of pounds before special events, but now that there aren't any events it's hard to stay motivated. I'm slowly getting back on the wagon, though. Stay strong everyone!

I've been stuck in the low 230s. This month my goal is to break into the 220s.

Weighing in a day early. It's my girlfriend's birthday today and she requires a dinner consisting of steak, potatoes, wine, chocolate cake, and if we have room, some asparagus. I really don't want to weigh in tomorrow.

So this week I did some comfort eating as I got some very bad news about someone I am very close to, but although the scale went up I still dropped 1% body fat which I am pleased about.

Determined to keep on it this weekend so I can finish strong haha

Grrrr! I went up a pound. Still eating 1200 calories a day. The big difference was that I had no time to exercise this week.

The scale's been headed in the wrong direction this week. I had a couple days of eating at/close to maintenance, and I went 50% over daily sodium yesterday (Popeye's chicken for dinner with the niece). I saw 186.3 in there for a brief moment, so I'm confident if I stick with it and drink plenty of water, I'll get there again. Maybe not by the 31st though.

ETA: I calculate my weekly average weight every Friday and it's down .5 lb from last week.

When dinner's really outstandingly good, do you go back to finish off what's left....especially if there's not much left, just scrape the pan like those calories don't matter? That's me ....

I weighed myself last week but didn't post. I didn't do so well the 15th-22nd, and gained some back. But I've been back on track the past week and down .4lbs from the 15th. I've also lost another 2.5inches total since the 15th. I'm happy with progress so far, slow but steady and I've been able to maintain changes pretty well.

May 29: 270 - Had one heck of a jump on that scale this week (up 4 lbs one time...granted...salt...) however, the fact that I have eaten cleaner has helped me get that number you see today...back on that scale. So - I won't meet my goal weight this time. However, I'm going to see if being in a walk-athon tomorrow...and eating clean helps me drop to that May 15th number. Heading to my zoom boxing happy hour class. Have a good weekend all. Kick up your activity level with me. Seize joy and hold on tight. Take your vitamins - drink that water. Best wishes to all.

My name is Donna and I am 60 years old. I am from the Midwest USA. 5’ 5

May start Weight: 207.9 (Weight on April 30th)
    May Goal Weight: 202.9
Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 (I’ll know when I get there).

    May 1 : 207.7
May 8: 207.2 I went up a bit with the travel, but I am working it back down. This is my birthday week. It falls on Mother’s Day Sunday this year. A double holiday for me so I will have to tiptoe very very carefully through this week so I don’t ruin any progress I’ve made including my non-scale victories!
May 15: 204.3 Finally a little progress. I’ve got to stay on track and keep moving too. It works.
May 22: 204.8 I’ve been bouncing around all week. Mostly good days but, like everyone else, I sometimes have to fight the sodium, discipline myself not to eat back the calories and DRINK MY WATER!!!
May 29: 204.7 However, unexpected travel will be happening today and I know it is going to undo my progress temporarily. I hate the false ending weights!

    May 31: 236 lbs.

Overall I am happy with this month. I’m down 11lbs which is just over 2 lbs a week. If I can keep this up I will be overweight (my first big goal) before I know it!
