Looking for a list of foods that have no carbs that I can eat for dinner or as a snack. My protein intake has a little over 15 carbs higher than recommended..

Butter and oils I'd say.
Why do you want to avoid carbs? Is there a medical reason?6 -
and meat, I think.
or very very little anyway.
I guess you could snack on a cube of steak.4 -

My carb intake is 408 grams and it says I'm suppose to take only 320 grams2 -
what is "it" which says this?2

Macros are mainly for feeling full and good. And what that is for someone is totally individual. Ok, you need protein for your muscles and fat for your brains, fatty acids and digestion, but going over carbs on some days is no problem at all. All what counts for weight loss is calories.6

Why don't you have a low carb protein shake?3 -

On the day I ate 650g of carbs but ended the day in a substantial calorie deficit do you think my bodyfat level went up or down?11 -

Wrong. There was a guy on here who got "ripped" and had great abs, eating carbs. If I find his thread I'll post it. The progress pics were awesome.7 -

For a moment there I didn’t realise you were being rhetorical and was thinking “no - how can he ask that? He’s normally full of knowledge!” 🤣4 -

Well, you could use a lower protein product. My protein powder has zero carbs. However, when I make smoothies, I add foods with carbs, because carbs don't keep me from losing weight, only excess calories keep me from losing weight.
In fact, when I was in Costa Rico I ate a very high carb diet - rice and beans at least twice per day and tropical fruit all day long - and dropped a size without even trying. This was because my overall calories were low.

Carbs and abs have pretty much nothing to do with each other as that thread clearly demonstrates. OP, stop worrying about stupid stuff. Eat well, enough protein and train.11 -

Am I the only one who can't get passed a 650 gms carbs and still being in a calorie deficit thought? I would love to have that many calories to play around with every now and then LOL! Aside from all that, great point.2 -

Come on a 200km cycle ride with me and your calorie dreams will come true!
Nine hours of cycling on a challenging hilly route burned about 4,500cals and despite trying I still ended up with a roughly 1800 cal deficit.
The carby highlight was probably the afternoon tea and homemade cake selection served at a cricket club.
Pro riders are a good example to the OP of people who eat a lot of carbs but are also very lean.

Yes...but do you have rippin' abs?6 -
Fruits, vegetables, legumes, pasta, rice, potatoes are mostly carbs.
Meat and eggs are mostly protein with varying amounts of fat.
Oil, butter, nuts, and sour cream are all or mostly all fat.
Dairy products like milk, cheese (minimal carbs), and yogurt are usually a mix of carbs, protein and fat.2
