Hi, I'm new to My Fitness Pal. Just starting my diet and fitness plan last Tuesday.

    Hello. Good to have you here. Congrats on making a start.

    Just one thing - we don't like that word "diet". It's long term lifestyle change, not short term fads for us.

    Meh, I understand the logic behind not saying diet. For me, I needed to accept it was a diet. Pretending I didn't need one in prior years got me nowhere. But yes, this is a Way of Life now, not a diet to fall on and off of. Portion control replaces the word diet now for me. Good luck on your journey!
