Got to tell the Dr. I lost weight

Gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling today to let the doctor know I lost 26 pounds since the last time I saw him.

I'm waiting for that one. I've lost 35 lbs and I'm supposed to go back soon for a vitamin D test. I'm hoping she will see it in the chart, lol.1

Last time I saw my Gastro doc and was complaining bitterly about the hell of GERD, he looked me in the eye, and implored me,” I’ve been there. You need to loose weight. I did it. You can do it. That will do more for your problem than any medication I can give you. “
Stupidly, I looked at him and thought to myself, yeah right. You’re thin and fit and don’t understand.
No, it was ME who didn’t understand.
He was in the back of my mind when I started the weight loss, and I walk or bike past his office several times a week. I really need to go in and thank him. He was the only doctor who was brutally honest.
