Hi all,
So after 3 months of home workouts (body weight and water bottles mainly) I returned to the gym 2 weeks ago. My diet has been the same throughout the lock down (weekly weigh-ins). However, to my disappointment, when weighing in this Saturday I was 2.5 Kg heavier
. I read that when first starting a workout program, you experience some weigh gain due to muscle inflammation etc... Just wanted to through this out here and see if any has experienced the same and If you could share how long does it take for the weight to normalize?
Thank you all in advance

As long as you are staying true to your diet and weighing food correctly it would most likely be water weight. I put on 3kg the first two weeks of going back. Dropped it in the third plus 1kg of fat. It was drastic and I’m a bit sad it’s over and I’m losing at a regular rate now 😂2
