Food scale to MyFitnessPal

When I put a order in on my fitness pal it said it was 114g and I weighted the food and it was only 40g do I put the gram to 1 then 40serving size on the app to make it the exact amount of calories and all.

Yes, that’s the best way to do it if there is a option for 1g, otherwise the maths gets complicated! 😂1

Yeah that's what I do with a lot of things. Just remember that nutrition labels, unless otherwise noted, represent the calories AS IS when you purchased the product. Things like meats that are cooked will have different weights before and after cooking. I encourage people to weight the raw food prior to cooking and then portion accordingly. If you don't and only weigh after cooking, you can wind up over eating because the food lost water weight in the cooking process1
