Okay guys. I am finally committing. To help motivate me, I want to post a real, raw, honest reason why I want to lose weight to remind me. I would love to hear yours everyday too! It can be a big or small reason or anything in between. The more detailed and honest, the better.
Let's add each other and hold each other accountable 💜
Reasons:
1. I want to feel comfortable sitting on my boyfriend's lap without feeling self conscious.

I want to feel comfortable in myself because I never really have and it's about time I did6

The reason why I started was for my kids. To be able to play with them and keep up with them. So I could be in their lives for as long as possible.

My knees, my hips, my back, my ankles.
I’m 48 and walk like my grandma used to! My 80 year old mom puts me to shame.
I want to be mobile and don’t want to be stuck on a scooter or wheelchair in 10 years. I need to face the reality that it may happen if I don’t smarten up.5 -
Every time I showered, I'd sit on my bed and cry because I felt so uncomfortable in my own skin. I was also terrified that I'd die early and leave my husband alone and in pain.
Being fat has only ever detracted from the good in my life. It had to end.6 -
My number one reason is just feeling confident in my body and myself overall. This means no longer wearing pants in summer and long sleeves because my legs/arms look fat. I want to see pictures of myself where my double chin isn’t the first thing that catches my eye. I also want to prove to myself that I can do this, so that confidence can carry over to other parts of my life. I’ve lost 23lbs, only 41 to go! Let’s do this💙

I was tired of feeling bad in my own skin. Well, I doubt I'll ever be 'fully' confident, but being the biggest woman in all of my social circles really bothered me.
I was tired of my body limiting my activities: not being able to hike at the same difficulty as when I was younger, having to hold my breath to tie my shoelaces,....
On top of that, I think being at a normal weight will help me if I ever need a new job. My last job search lasted a few years: because I was picky, sure, but I'm certain a lot of people were also prejudiced because of my weight, combined with my lack of confidence in myself.5 -
I’m hoping to get pregnant soon and want to be healthier for that.4

I was having terrible acid reflux, I was utterly lethargic, felt awful and sore, no motivation to do ANYTHING, sleeping horrible, after eating anything sugary I would have to sleep, out of breath from the simplest things, & just generally sad. I’ve already lost 31 lbs and all of those symptoms are gone. Now to loose the next 30 and be in a healthy weight range for my height.6
