Just another diet book?

Or is there truly something to this? I never know what to believe. I saw her on The Doctors but I'm always a skeptic. And does anyone know what her eating consists of? I know she started with Paleo then became even stricter as her health deteriorated. Thank you for any insight you might have.

First off, there's no real evidence that "paleo" eating has any benefits or a true scientific basis. Second, her diet is designed for people with multiple sclerosis (MS). There's no real scientific evidence that it works for MS although web MD says there are some studies underway to see if this or any other way of eating has an effect on MS progression. They also say there are some problems with getting all necessary nutrients with strict following of the Wahls Protocol. So, in a word, it's just another book.6

IMO any book, is just another book and any dieting fad is just another fad. Sustainable weight loss comes from making sustainable lifestyle changes. For me, that’s a plan where I still eat the foods I enjoy, but tracking calories and portion size and adding in both cardio and weight lifting routines.2
