Hi everyone!
I just set my goals, going to exercise 45 minutes five days per week. Going to eat 1200 calories per day. Then it calculated that I'll lose only .7 lbs per week?
Is that really true, you think?

If so, you don't have much weight to lose, and/or you're not very tall. Also, please keep in mind that the algorithm is based on averages, and you may or may not be average. If you weigh your food, choose entries that match your food labels, and trust the system, you'll have enough data by the end of August to make adjustments based on your own personal rate of loss.

MFP does not include your exercise plans in calculating your weight loss, only the exercise that you actually log each day.

This is also true. But you're intended to eat back your exercise calories, too. So you don't run too steep of a deficit and lose extra muscle.

If you are at only 1200 calories, you should eat your exercise calories back. I’m set to lose 1 lb per week and I have about 50-55 lbs to lose, so my daily calories are 1500. I also set mfp to sedentary and then log all of my exercise info (mfp overcalculates calorie burn imo).

Since my calories are 1500 a day, I do not usually eat all of my exercise calories back. That way, if I lose a little extra at the end of the week, it’s a nice surprise.
