I hit my July goal!
However, after another pizza party with the kids last week and a junk-filled riverside picnic, today's weigh-in was an eye-opener about the need to be vigilant. This is the first time my body measurements haven't gone down. I can also see the difference in my progress photos.
I'm determined to not get down on myself, though: my son only visits once a year for 2 weeks, so this is a special case. I've already gotten back on the wagon this week and am going strong with nutrition!
I'm also figuring out that I don't have to restrict myself to vegan or vegetarian eating: as long as I have a wide and varied diet, I can be healthy. Having to be grain-free and fruit-free is enough of a restriction, and I was starting to get bored of just beans and tofu and veggies.
