Anyone else fit in this category of what they are calling the COVID weight gain averaging around 15 lb. Well I overdid that gaining 18 since March. We have been pretty much self-quarantined - so started stress eating. Enough already I need to take control. My aim is to actually lose 30 lbs, but mainly to feel healthy again.

Same here I probably added about ten pounds. Trying to chase them away with brisk walks and logging here and keeping portions under control as before lockdown! But the boredom is hard not to eat through...6

yes, I def gained 10-15 pounds since COVID. Was emotional and stress eating too. I was still working out pretty ok, but def not the same intensity pre COVID. it def proved to me how eating is so important and you can't out train a bad diet. Finally taking back control. We got this!5

I gained about 20lbs during lockdown 😔 I was doing so well beforehand but it totally derailed me. I don’t really know why but I was eating and drinking way too much for a couple of months. I had this weird feeling that the whole world was out of control and so was I. I know that sounds a bit melodramatic but it genuinely was quite a strange and unsettling feeling. Anyway, I have given myself a stern talking to and am thankfully back on track again! I also need to lose 30lbs to reach my goal - 4 down; 26 to go. Good luck.11

Finally getting back to a better way of thinking...and my pants don't fit....sooo, time to get back to work
Feel free to add me as a friend.

I have a different kind of Covid weight gain. I got the virus July 3 and got totally over it in about 12-14 days. During the virus I lost about 5 lbs. After i recovered i am really struggling to get back on track with dieting, exercising, logging, or anything! Great. So far I've gained the 5 covid pounds I lost plus another 2.! I am out of control!6

I gained the Covid-19 pounds. I am a teacher and went from walking around my classroom and campus all day to sitting in front of my computer with my pantry and refrigerator. I am committed to losing it again starting now!6

joyanna happy to hear you recovered from Covid. When there is so much we can't control these days - looks like we have all made the decision to control what we put in our mouth5

I regret to say I’m a member of this club lol!! I was 201 May 5 and 215 July 25. It’s frustrating because it comes on so quick and take so long to get off.
I’m a stress and boredom eater and I was stressed and bored!! I’m now re-motivated and will get this weight off ASAP!!2 -
I've gained 5 pounds but it feels like 202

COVID 20 here. I actually got a jump start when I underwent a complete remodel of kitchen and all 3 bathrooms (Dec-Feb). Then the virus hit in Mar. I am retired and live alone. The increased time alone plus the loss of gym, theater and concerts has really thrown me for a loop.
It is definitely past time to get a grip, get out of this funk and re-establish healthy habits!2 -
Yup - wanted to lose weight and ended up gaining more with unexpected lock down. Working at home, gyms still closed so it's difficult, could do with motivation - feel free to add me as I start going again tomorrow!0

I think it’s 15 but to be honest I’m too scared to get on the scale😱. Now at least with everything open I’m back to workouts and hiking. I need to get my calories a little lower but for now I feel I’m moving in the right direction. I actually have one pair of jeans I can wear and everything else is tight so it’s going to take me another 45-60 days to just get back to where I was.2

I went from office work to work at home on March 13th and since then gained 8lbs. Less moving, more wine and no regards to portion size. I was a tad underweight going into quarantine, so it's not a big deal, but I'm currently working to get it under control!
We can do this!2 -
Yep, I'm an overachiever and gained 20
I'm trying to be kind to myself about it.1
