Hi all, just after a bit of help, fitness pal is picking up my steps but not my exercise from Fitbit even though it’s logged in Fitbit app? Can someone point me in the right direction to set it to register exercise please?

I think it only auto registers a couple of exercises, like running, walking, cycling (not very well) and one or two other things with regular movements. You need to start the workout on your fitbit yourself.0

The Fitbit sync only transfers steps, it's never going to show specific exercise events.1

Oh ok. Yeah I set it away whenever I train so I thought it would register that burn in MFB as you would think that would be more relevant than the steps when you log exercise. Not to worry. Thanks for your help guys.0

The workout calories are contained in the total daily burn that Fitbit does send over to MFP.
Steps is used for nothing but display as a figure.
