Come on, we've all had 'em. What is the worst date you have been on?
I have too many to list but one that comes to mind is the guy that showed up drunk (he also had his friends drive him and stay at the pub).

I went on a first date where I was so nervous that I had a little Dutch courage. Oh he was so handsome and that made me feel even more nervous especially after coming from a 16 year old relationship/ marriage and in the process of divorcing. "Let's go to the horses" he said, "oh I never have been before" I replied. Off we trotted (excuse the pun) to watch the horse racing. After a I wine here and a wine there I was loosening up having a lovely time. Walking up the steps to get a good view, apparently, it was dark, about 8.30ish pm in December and I hear, "oh here is a good friend of mine", as I continued to climb the stairs of doom I tripped up them as I looked up from the cringe worthy position I found myself in I could see 2 half smiling, half embarrassed faces looking down at me. Oh the horror. I composed myself, gave an awkward, "whoopsie" and said hello to his friend. I didn't win on the horses that night but I did bag myself a fella, the father of my son and have been together nearly 6 years.
So I suppose when there is an awful first date it maybe isn't due to the other person but ourselves and it is a time we giggle over every now and again ☺9 -
I have two. Both I met on dating sites.
The one spit when he talked and every one of his stories started with "I was so drunk"
The other one looked nothing like his pictures and I didn't recognize him at first. He must have used really old pictures3 -
Mine was so bizarre. I was in college and lived on campus. It started with him having no plan of going out to do something fun...we just walked around campus. This didn’t last long...I told him I needed to get back to my dorm. I thought he would just walk me home. Instead he said he wanted to show me his dorm. So weird!! We went in and he gave me a tour of his dorm and then said...Do you want to see my clothes? I was like WTF??? I thought he was kidding, but no, he was serious. He proceeded to show me each article of clothing. It was so crazy I couldn’t believe it was really happening. It was our one and only date. 😂5

Well one of mine, it was probably my fault it was so bad. I met up with this fixie chick...I didnt really plan it that well. I was like, yeah "we can just fang around town a bit and see how it goes". We ended up getting ice cream but I, well both of us... forgot to bring a bike lock and was paranoid about getting my bike stolen. Clearly she didn't understand the value of my bike...it would have never worked out anyway...dodged a bullet!6

I went out with someone I met online once. he was very noticeably under the influence of something, and his energy was pretty unsettling. when it was time to pay, I put my card down to pay for my portion. He asked if I wanted to go back with him to his place, to which I declined. He ended up putting my card in his wallet and told me if I wanted it back I would have to join him for a drink at his home. I was unamused, asked for it back, and he kept refusing. Finally I just looked at him, opened my bank app, and reported the card stolen. He followed me to my car and told me I needed to "lighten up" and "live a little".7

thankfully it didn't escalate and I am immensely confident in my self-defense abilities. I think he was just a drunk/high asshat who hasn't been told "no" often. plus, the look on his face when I showed him that I reported the card stolen was priceless.4 -

Yeah, fixie chicks are the worst.
The last chicka I rode with was nails. We had this long climb and then started the decent down a long, steep grade with the wind at our back.
She was just bombing down the hill and I thought, ' yeah let's do this. '
We reach the bottom and I'm a lil' freaked out from the decent, it was fast.... real fast... faster than I was comfortable with for sure.
She had one of those little computer gizmos on her handlebars that measure speed, distance, etc.
I asked her: 'okay, how fast was that?'
She calmly replied: " Sixty One Miles an Hour "4 -
I took a womanz out to dinner.
It wasn't the fanciest dinner, but at the time I wasn't exactly swimming in cash.
She orders food, a salad... but doesn't eat it.
I asked her if anything was wrong with it.
She said "no, this is delicious" and then just moved it around on the plate with her fork.
So, I'm eating my meal (because that's generally what one does after ordering food), carrying a conversation and watching her push lettuce around on a plate.
Afterward she said: "I need a cigarette after a meal."
What meal ??
I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
btw... nobody smokes in my car, okay?
Dropped her off at her place and went home.
Obviously, this was a last date with her.
I never saw here or talked to her again.6 -
I haven't been on many first dates so I feel grateful for the ones I've been on. Can't complain

Met online. She showed up to the restaurant hammered. Pics were about six years older-- she was now about 40 lb. heavier.
She wanted to make out in front of them patrons...which, I admit, I'm never adverse to. But in this case...uh, had to pass...lol
And this, kids, is why you should never talk to strangers online.3 -

We met on Match and then ran into each other at the store. He was a teacher and single dad. Seemed really nice and attractive. I was a single mom and widower. He asked me out and I said yes. The whole date he asked me what he should do about a house as he was living with his parents and couldn’t decide if he wanted to rent, buy, or build. Then he couldn’t decide what kind of car to get. So on and so forth. He literally asked me to make like 5 big life decisions for him. Then he friends me on social media and realized I was friends with someone he had been “seeing”. He said oh no I’m going to quit seeing you both. I don’t want to be a player. He totally freaked out about it. Seriously? We went on one date. No kiss and all I did was tell you what to do with your life. She can have you. You have no idea what a player is. I felt like a life coach not a date. Haha he then proceeded to ask my daughter about me every time he saw her in public or now at her work for the next 10 years. Small town 🤦🏻♀️5
