I mean, it’s great to be thrifty but i draw the line at certain things.
Underwear comes to mind.

Y’all should know that it is legal in the state of New York to return bathing suits and underpants to the store.

To answer the question: bathing suits, underpants

^^ Along the same lines: sofa, couch, sofa bed, and anything else that can collect then trap dander, mites and other buggy things within the upholstery [shivers with paranoia]

i legit cant think of anything i havent bought second hand at some point, or got handed down to me 🤷🏻‍♀️ but my moms owned a couple second hand shops when i was growing up so i am less skeeved out by used things than most people

That is very cool. I was reading a book recently that had the heroine growing up in a second hand shop. I thought it was great

😐 You wash them in hot water.

unless it's like a couch or a bed or furniture or something. then you have to wrap it in plastic and let it sit in the sun for like 3 days I think.

"Bed bugs can take up residence in many places besides just a bed, such as the cracks and crevices in walls or wood. They also like to hide behind baseboards, around mattress buttons, within bedding and inside box springs. In some instances, bed bugs can come from inside electrical switch plates, picture frames, and wallpaper. These elusive pests can be found nearly anywhere inside a home, car, bus, or other shelter. In hotels, the most common place to find bed bugs is within the backside of headboards that are mounted on walls."

Soo, this makes a strong case for going rogue and saying *kitten* it all, I'm gonna be a (naked?) vagrant who sleeps outside on the grass

i choose to believe the ringing is because of ghosts. and the ghosts also had tinnitus during life.
