What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

Recovering my mental health while keeping on track with my physical goals. I know I can control my diet, my weight, my workouts and my strength. But my relationship with food has been awful. I've had an eating disorder. I've been miserable. I've seen a counsellor.
Being able to eat any food without inhibitions, guilt or torturing myself over whether or not I "should" be eating it is the most wonderfully liberating, life-affirming and uplifting feeling after years of restrictive behaviour.16 -
My current mini-goal is to stick to my weightlifting program. It's a four day a week program, so it shouldn't be that hard but I suffer from chronic fatigue. This week I'm behind schedule not due to chronic fatigue so much as having had a really active weekend and needing a rest day on Monday. Lifted heavy Tuesday and Wednesday and needed another rest day Thursday. Eventually I want to be lifting 4 days a week, running a 5k one day a week, and then just being active on my weekends.6

My minigoal is getting to the weight i first thought was "Whoa, time to do something!". My long term goal reward is if i get to my goal, I'll go to Iceland December 2021, so that's really pushing me!7

I think I'll change it up and try a non-weight focused goal. Therefore, right now my mini-goal is to take in some form of matcha every day, whether it's in a shake or drunk hot or put in my water. Secondary, but also important, is to start using up my massive collection of herbal teas. It'll free up cupboard space, rotate out old stock, and give me something else that's flavorful to drink.9

My next mini-goal is to reach 163 lbs. I've been SO close the last few days, and as long as I stay on track I should get there in the next week or so!5

So I've backpedalled. A fair bit.
New mini-goal: My restarting tracking MFP-versary is in 10 days. Looking to shave a few pounds off my current weight, to reach 52 pounds in 52 weeks.
From there, the next numeric mini-goal will be reaching 187.3 lbs on the 28-day average. Hoping to reach this on or before September 30th, and it would keep the "52 in 52" thing going, which would be nice.
I took things pretty strong last fall (Oct-Dec were 12.7, 15, and 10.8 lbs lost respectively on the 28-day average), so there will eventually be a point where I will come up a bit short in that mark -- probably October (I'm finding the mental game is harder as weight moves lower and I am not going to try again for double-digits in a month). It's a nice thought to keep it going as close as I can within reason though. I'll be able to catch up to the 52 in 52 again in late winter/early spring if I'm diligent, as I slowed down then backpedalled after January. Kind of a neat thing I just realized is that I just need to work toward "catching up" to the 52 less than the end of January's average and I'll be in the neighborhood where I am thinking I'll be able to shift into recomposition mode. Crazy. I know it's still months away, but these mini goals really do help to make the transition through the larger game.

Updating
Back on August 10...
Get back to Onederland (about 7 1.6 lbs to go)
I'll add a new one
Down 20 lbs (since restarting) - seems a little far away. BUT if I remember from the last time I lost weight, at about 20 lbs was when I could start noticing and when clothes started to fit better, or get loose (4.3 0 lbs to go - made it today, down 20.1 lbs since restarting!)
Adding a new goal:
-Since I didn't reset my goal when I restarted it's been a little hard to keep track since it doesn't match my overall loss. So I'm gonna go back to my overall loss to make it easier for me to keep up with....so new goal, down 40 lbs overall (6.5 lbs to go)6 -
My goal hands down is to get back to where I was physically before the "break".8
-
I'm getting my nose pierced when I get under 200 lbs...about 6 to go!11

A musician I love was selling sweatpants, but artist merch sizes almost always run small. The pair I ordered is a bit too small for me to fit into, so my goal is to get down to the right size for them to fit perfectly!7

Today it's 122 days until Christmas. My mini goal is to commit to logging and sticking to my deficit for 💯 of these days, which gives me wiggle room to relax on my anniversary and birthday before then.
I like the feeling of saying I'd do 122 days until Christmas but I want an excess of birthday cake and champagne and holiday cookies to look forward to on occasions.4 -
"My current mini goal is to lose 9 more pounds!! That would put me at 50 pounds lost (so far) and would hopefully also put me another size down in clothes.:):):)I am stuck in a plateau right now, so it may take a little time to happen.:( "
Ok, so I reached my mini goal -- and I have a similar mini goal again! I am stuck in another plateau, and I really want to lose 8 more pounds by the end of September. I realize that this may seem like an unrealistic goal. However, I am a bariatric surgery recipient in the early stages of my weight loss; so I think that I may be able to achieve such a large loss in one month. Fingers crossed, increasing my daily step goal and adding some additional aerobic activity to help burn more calories!!

Getting out of the 180s. I have 1.5 lbs to go! (This might be more of a micro goal9
-
Broke through 255 today, so the new number goal is 250. 250 is also the point at which I have only 100 pounds to lose.
At 246 I will have lost 50 pounds.12 -
i am new to fitbit. my goal this week is to track every day for 1 week6
-
Getting more protein in my breakfast and lunch so I'm not so hungry in the afternoons that I snack too much on high calorie foods. Also to have more healthy snacks around that are ready to eat.8
-
Every 10 pounds i give myself a non food reward. i'm 3 lbs away from getting an apple watch, so i'm really hustling! haha. i want the watch to help track my workouts, but i don't want to get it until i've EARNED it. Other rewards were a mani/pedi or new running shoes so this one is definitely a big one!12
-
Down another pound today. Will I lose down to 250 this time, or have to go through another round of plateau and whoosh?8
-
Losing about one more pound to get me to the lowest weight I have seen in over 5 years!!!11
-
two mini goals at the moment.
(1) To lose half a pound to put me below 330 lbs (hopefully get that done on Sunday)
(2) To get my BMI below 40 (Hoping that will be done on my next measures day, 06/08/2020)7 -
Here in Spain quarantine was brutal, we weren't even allowed to walk for exercise for two months! So I gained about 8/10 pounds during it and had already wanted to lose 5 before it happened. So far I've lost about 5 and now my mini goal is to be able to fit in my favorite pair of jeans in September AND be able to sit down in them without dying, lol. That's good enough for now!!11

My mini goal for now is to get to the weight that I lied about on my drivers license. I only have 4 more pounds to go!7

I'm so glad we don't have our weight on our drivers license here (or any other physical characteristics)!
I already felt bad lying for my life insurance (for our mortgage), lol.3 -

Stay in normal bmi range (Asian American scale) for family reunion in a little over a week. Hopefully move closer to the middle of the range. I don't want to be the fattest female in my family of petite women.6

Mine is a health related issue.6

Mine is to get out of the 240s and into the 230s. I'm almost halfway there, down almost 6 lbs. from 251 a few weeks ago. Haven't been in the 230s since more than a year ago.6
-
I fit into 16 straights, but I don't wanna have to lay down on the bed to zip them up.6
-
I love Life Is Good brand t shirts. I have about 6 of them in 2X. I have just decided they are looking too big. I knew if I ordered an XL it would fit me fine right now, but I decided to go ahead and buy a L and use it as a clothing goal! It's definitely too tight to wear right now but Lord willing I will get there!!10
