Are the school buildings open where you are?0 -
Is walking from your bedroom to your office where you're now distance learning not close enough?0

Can you believe we don't start school until after labour Day? Our school will be opening, public will be waiting a week longer0 -

Can you believe our old commute was 300 metres?0 -
Isn't it strange to go from American Standard to Metric or vice versa?0
-
Aren't yards and metres complete different? Wouldn't it be nice for kids to grow up riding their bikes to school?0

Would you believe it is? When we visit the states we kept all our stuff in metric, is it here to believe things like miles and feet and fahrenheit make absolutely no sense?0 -
Might I sound a lot taller in American because 1.5 meters sounds super short?1
-
But don't kilos sound way less than pounds?0

While we're at it should we measure our height in hands?0
-
What time is it?0
-
Isn't it past dinner time?0
-
-
Wouldn't that be 15 hands?0
-
How do you figure that?0
-
Isn’t it three hands per linear foot as a rule? Would 3 x 5 = 15?0
-
Didn't I ask Google?0
-
What if I don't have 3 hands to measure a foot? Does that mean I can only measure 2/3 of a foot at once?0
-
Won't you always feel incomplete?0
-
Who's hands and feet are they referring to anyway? Might at 4'11" my hands and feet be much smaller than a man 6'3"?0
-
But, in scale, wouldn’t your hands and feet then be the same, essentially? 😁0

Would it be helpful for me to lend my measuring tape here?0
-
How does the tape measure up?1

Meaning how would the measuring tape extend upward to measure a person's height?
Well, do you think it would work if the person to be measured would hold one end of the tape, and another person would unroll it to reach the other extremity of the person being measured?
. . . .Is that complicating things?northviewvintage wrote: »Well, isn't that nice of you to offer?

Wanna know what's funny about Canada? Don't many people measure height of a person in feet and inches, but tell us something us a mile away and we have to figure out how to convert that to km? Then if it's far you might tell someone it's an hour away and we totally understand how far away that basically is?0

Who's got fun weekend plans?0
-
Might we have had camping in mind until our truck broke down? 🥴0
-
Oh no isn't that too bad?0
-
Would you believe I looked into glamping for my family and it was determined the lack of running water and communal toilets would make for an experience we just aren't ready for?0
-
Might we city dwellers a little too much?0
