HUAW
(Hurry Up And Wait)
Then went to college on a full ROTC scholarship; which was lost due to a medical reason. Blasted allergy to bees; found that out in my 2nd year of service. If known that would hinder a scholarship; would have remained enlisted.
Uncle Sam can't have officers who could be put out of commission (pun intended) due to a bee sting.0 -

OK, I'm putting together a motivating signature block pic/roster like I'm sure some of you have seen for some of the challenges. The toughest part seems to be picking a background that kinda encompasses all services... I'd prefer something with kinda action-type pics particular to each, or we can over simplify and just stick with a cammo background. Let me know what you think and please submit ideas.
Here are the names and breakdown for the "Roster". This info was gathered up from this thread and several others: please let me know if your info is incorrect, you would like to opt-out, or you need additional designator like "Ret" or (Deployed), or if I forgot somebody.
Also, if there's something I haven't thought of yet, feel free to make suggestions!

Okay astovey, will have you listed under motivated dependents on the final! I lost my edit button for the list posted here already.
***edited to add***
Hoping to see some serious friend requests flying around amongst you all with the help of the roster!
Also I'm wondering if it's worth researching to see who all has actually been active on MFP in the past month or so... I'm halfway tempted to give inactive ones "UA"/"AWOL" designations, lol... that way we can harass the heck out of them to come back! Meh... too much maintenance involved there.0 -
Appreciate the words of support. I'm a paratrooper stationed at Ft. Bragg. Very proud to serve.0

If I missed you and you've responded to either of the roster threads, my page or messaged me, be reassured you will appear on the final list!
Deployed designation is for those currently deployed.
Too much to keep track of otherwise. Bad enough there are occasional pissing matches between services, don't need to add in peacetime/wartime, combat/FOB pissing matches either, but it's awesome your guy has put in so many deployments Kay!0 -
I agree it's too much to keep up with, especially with the different branches0
-
AD AF here...Twenty-two years and two more to go. Started out as Security Forces, then instructor at the SF academy, then weapons instructor, and now First Sergeant. It's been an honor to serve!0
