Smoothie/blended food ideas

Options
Hi everyone,

I’m looking for smoothie and blended food ideas. Or basically recipes that’s will taste good drinking through a straw. Unfortunately all my nutrition has to be taken via straw for the next six weeks since I broke my jaw in a workplace incident and my jaw is wired shut.

Must be wheat, barley, oat (even gluten free oat), and red dye 40 free.

Thanks!

Oh dear, sorry to hear that :(

After jaw surgery, my brother had to eat soft food for about 6 weeks. My mother made regular soups/stews and blended them.

I really love peanut butter, banana, chocolate protein powder, and raw egg smoothies. (Feel free to leave out the egg.) I used coffee for the liquid. I stopped making them shortly after I got a food scale and realized how small 2 T of PB really was :(

There might be a few recipes here you like:

    Thank you both.

Any other suggestions? Getting tired of blended soups and protein shakes.

If you're tired of soup and protein shakes, maybe try yogurt drinks? Lassis are tasty.

Ouch! So sorry you’re in that situation. I mean this is a soup but it’s “creamy”

Could you sleep over cooked lentil or bean noodles? I did not extensively read the ingredients for this but there are many different brands out there. I think there’s bean based noodles too.

If you like milk smoothies, I suggest adding spices like cardamom or cinnamon or nutmeg. I make a smoothie with 1 cup milk, 3 tablespoons blueberries, 1 serving protein powder and cardamom almost every day and it's great
