Building site lunches

As I work on a building site I don't have time to walk down to the site canteen to use their microwave, kettle, etc.
I'm looking to cut down on bread so sandwiches wlll be off the menu.
What lunches do you take to work with you if you don't have the facilities to cook and don't fancy a sandwich?
I guess its not limited to building sites but anywhere you can't cook.

    Salads? if you have a cooler bag. Soups if you have a thermos

    I put all meals in a bowl. No bread needed

    How about a bowl of pasta mixed with various things: cheese, ham, tuna etc...
    Instead of bread try wraps and fill with whatever you fancy.

    Ham and egg muffins which can be eaten with tomatoes, cucumber etc..
    Muffin recipe (makes 12):
    275g plain flour
    1tbsp baking powder
    125g mature cheddar cheese, grated
    125g cooked ham, chopped
    7 sundried tomatoes in oil, drained and chopped ( or fresh tomatoes)
    2tbsp chives, freshly snipped
    2 medium eggs
    200ml (7floz) semi-skimmed milk
    90ml (3½floz) sunflower oil

    5 mins to make and 25 mins in oven

    Thanks for the rellies.
    As the temperatures starting to drop I'll go for the soups rather than the salads, I'll get myself a thermos and some good recipes. I do enjoy soup, just usually with bread.
    I'm definitely going to try the muffins too, thank you.

    Take what you put in your sandwich band convert it to salad or soup. Apple or orange or berries for a side. Or yogurt.

    Tinned fishes, olive packs, nuts, jerky, hard boiled eggs, protein bars, hot bone broth in your thermos

    I've started with making lentil soup and boiled eggs on alternate days and both with a banana, satsuma and a fat free yoghurt.
    I used to buy pre packed sandwiches, go to the chip shop or cafe.
    I can get used to this lifestyle!

    I appreciate this might be a bit against the spirit of it if you don't want bread.

    But I like making savoury scones or muffins to have with soup, oatcakes are also good.
