English (well, Australian English!) - fluently.
Auslan (Australian sign language) - I can get by, but not an expert
Spanish - just a bit, I need to practice much more so I can speak to my in-laws.
And hello/thank you and a few other useful phrases in Italian, German, Arabic, Mandarin.
And I can say "beware of the dog" and several other less-than-useful phrases in Shona (Zimbabwe).

American and British English (living in Europe long enough to know the differences and how to spell in both too! ha!)
    Dutch (almost fluently)
    German (conversational)
French (able to order food and drinks and stay out of danger!)
American Sign Language (from long long ago, but still remember a lot)

And like everyone else - totally fluent in sarcasm!

    Neat question :-)

    Cheers, Christy

And now that I'm doing a lot of work out of China, I'm working on learning Mandarin. I think it will be my greatest language challenge thus far

 The languages I speak fluently are:

    Lallans - mother tongue
    English - mother tongue
    Nederlands (Dutch) - bilingual
Deutsch (German) - business German better than social chit-chat
Svenska (Swedish) - wish I spoke to mother-tongue standard

I also speak and understand French and can read and understand Spanish and Italian, Danish and Norwegian.

I did Russian at high School but that was way too many years ago now.

I'm trying to learn some Turkish as I've fallen in love with the country.

I have a gift for language and it comes naturally to me. I also have a degrees in Dutch Language & Culture and Modern Linguistics. :blushing:
