    34 lbs down in 3 mos, with pics

    I don't have any good photos of me at my peak weight, but did manage to find one where I'm up there, maybe 210-215# from fall of 2009. In May 2011, I hit 224, which was my HW. June 1 I started on MFP. I am down 34 lbs, and 2 pants sizes. I've been feeling like I'm not making progress, or like I should feel different, then I saw a thread yesterday on an NSV where you could see such a difference from a size 20 to a size 14, so I figured I'd see if I could find a pic of what I looked like before to try to see if I could see the difference. Well, went home, put on the same clothes now (well, different jeans because I'm smaller! :-) ), and there is a huge difference. I need to share to help pick myself up and to see what others have already been able to see.

    Fall of 2009, weight around 210-215

      Wow, yes, there is a big difference! I wouldn't have thought you only lost 34 lbs in the second picture (I would have guessed you lost more). I honestly don't understand that, some people lose weight and are a weight I would typically think was heavier but when seeing a picture they look SMALL. I guess it's all about How you carry the weight, genetics. Great job! Keep up the good work!

      Thanks all. I needed to see it in pics, because I just wasn't seeing it looking in the mirror everyday. I've been bummed lately because I've had a foot injury, couldn't work out for 2 weeks, felt stalled, felt like I should be happier about this, felt like I should be feeling good about how I look, but wasn't. Now, looking at these pics has helped me feel a lot better about how far I've come and has me excited now to keep going.

      I love MFP!
