Yeah, cottage cheese is money for protein. I have half a pot (about 150g) every day for 22g of protein!

Peanut butter is also excellent. Get a big spoonful of that in for a quick hit.

This sounds great! What is golden syrup, is it corn syrup?

Close enough yep, Golden Syrup is sugar derived rather than corn derived, but it should work the same.

I thought we weren't allowed to eat fish any more due to the cancer-causing mercury it's apparently loaded with?

Chicken, tuna, steak, greek yogurt, cheese, milk, protein powder
  • As well as meats and fish I use protein shakes for convenience and to help me hit 30% protein per day.

I like fromage frais as well, have that every day on fruit or granola.
  • Adkins Advantage Chocolate Chip Granola Bar. Protein and carbs are 1 gm apart and calories are 200. I eat one 30 mins before intense exercise to keep from crashing when I'm done working out. It also takes care of chocolate cravings. Since it is a bar it's easy to eat on the run.

Everything everyone else has said. :) ... I love eggs, though ... uh... I also love protien powder. Greek yogurt. I've been preachin' the virtues of mixing a litte vanilla whey protien in plain greek yogurt. Tastes a lot like vanilla pudding, but has CRAZY amounts of protien. Tuna is next on my list, but I keep forgetting my little packets at home.

Fish, eggs, cottage cheese, and greek yogurt are all great ways to get protein. I also love Kashi bars when I am on the go. You can't beat them for taste, portability, and calorie to protein ratios.

I like Builder Bars - 20g of protein each. All of the things others have said, but in addition there are breads that have more protein than you might expect - I like the Orowheat Healthful english muffins because for only 140 calories you get 7g of protein and good fiber. Add on eggs, cheese, tuna, or meat, and the protein goes up quickly.

Greek yogurt for a snack, and eggs in the AM are two of my choices for protein intake
