I just had rice and gheymeh stew. Its a Persian yellow split pea stew that you eat with rice.

We've been doing our big fall house cleaning thing since Sunday...most of the day Sunday, most of the evening Monday after work and most of the evening tonight...so pizza it is. Pepperoni, mushroom, and red onion.

    Hubs is making Sloppy Joes.

Put all of the following into a food processor to make the sauce:
    2 tbsp dry mustard
    2 tbsp vinegar
    2 cups ketchup
    Green pepper 2-3 LARGE
    White onion 2-3
    2 tsp salt
4 tbsp sugar <--can use artificial instead

3 pounds ground beef <--I use 80/20 or 88/12 depending on where I buy it from. Browned/crumbled, drained, rinsed.

Pour the sauce over the ground beef & simmer for 30 minutes or so on low/medium.

I eat with a fork. Hubs puts on a bun to make a sandwich. This does make a large batch. You can use 1.5 pounds ground beef and cut all the other in half if you'd like.
