Your goal weight BMI is below 20, don't be surprised that your weight loss will be slower and lower than you expect given that your current BMI is below 22.
Be kind to yourself, don't give yourself unrealistic goals3 -
I dont think its an unhealthy goal0

14 pounds is alot!
I mean in term of people who want to lose upwards of 50 it might not seem significant but for me, my clothes are tight and I am bloated0 -

No it isn’t a lot even if you think it is. Your goal is not reasonable and you will most likely fail.
We are politely trying to help you choose a reasonable and safely attainable goal.2 -
I dont want to fail
Thats why I am giving myself nine weeks, which is not a crash diet
What would you say a reasonable goal would be?
I appreciate the help0 -
With only 14 lbs to goal weight, a reasonable goal is .5 a week1

Also, MFP won’t let you go below 1200 a day. I am set to lose 1 lb a week with 40 lbs left to goal. I get 1340 calories a day with that goal. If I change my goal to 2 lbs a week, my calorie goal changes to 1200 a day. Basic math tells me that 140 cal per day x7 is only 980 a week, far fewer than the 3500 I would need to burn to lose that extra lb. Hence, even if you tell MFP you want to lose 1.5 a week, with only 14 lbs to lose, MFP won’t set your calorie goal low enough for you to lose that quickly as you would have to eat far fewer calories than is healthy.
I know it isn’t what you want to hear, but none of us wants to lose weight slowly. It’s just how it works though...0 -
0.5lb per week would be a more appropriate and reasonable goal.1
