sorry, my name is Sheri. I choose the screen name themommie because with 7 kids and doing fostercare for 7 yrs, I was always being referred to as someones mom. LOL

Back home from the hockey game. The food options were very limited as it was a preseason game and not everything was open. My best option was chicken tenders. I was able to stay under my calories but not my carbs.
Nutrition - Sorry
Exercise - Had to break it into 3 sets but got them done! 10 pts
Cardio - 60 minutes for 30 pts
Total - 40 points

<<breathing very, very heavily>> My heart feels like it is beating out of my chest! But, I just finished 50 push-ups, all on the floor, girls style but... I did them. Ahhh, catching my breath now... I found myself thinking - "ahhht, I don't need to worry about doing those, I've done enough today." Which is precisely why I did them! I need to stop just thinking things are "good enough!" Besides, my arms need more work!
POINTS FOR SUNDAY:
Nutrition - Under Carbs - Yes! Phew! Was worried for a minute, but they are below! +5
Exercise - 50 Push-ups - Yes! My arms are still shakey, but they are complete! +10
Cardio - 268 Minutes - Wasn't the plan, but someone poked my competitive spirit! +130 (right?)

This was NOT my plan at all... but one of my MFP friends said that they were going to finish their swim today, without me. So, I ended up feeling competitive and didn't want to get left in the dust - so I did extra and made sure that I swam another mile! Plus, I did some shopping and walking and walking and walking. Wasn't really shopping, just walking around the stores. Knew that I wouldn't do it outside tonight so I figured that if I went through some stores that I would get in some natural stretching and keep moving to avoid tighting up too much! Did some biking and jogging at the gym... And, plan to meet a friend there in the morning at 9:30 AM. Anyway - I hope that yesterday and today give us some padding to beat the Curvettes! I would love it if we could win this week!!
Oh - and for the rest day... I'm OK with Tuesday or Thursday -- just would like for us to decide so I can plan around it! Thursday would be the better day for me, but I am OK with whatever.
Gotta get to bed so I can wake up for tomorrow's gym time.0 -

I would have thought today's nutrition challenge would have been easy for me. I always thought I ate a ton of protein, so I didn't even really think about it other than choosing to have beef jerkey as a snack. So I was surprised when I checked after dinner and I was far from 90%. I don't have anymore calories so I am not going to get this one.

My daughter and grandbaby came up and we spent the day shopping and went out to lunch. we got lots of walking in and I bought my granddaughter the cutest little outfit and a little baby purse (rattle). She is so precious , she is 3 months old and starting to try to mimic and talk.0 -

I was glad we decided to make yesterday our rest day. I would not have been able to get any exercise in anyway. Tuesdays and Thursdays are going to be a big challenge for me now that school and sports for my son have started. They generally will involve coming straight home for work to get him and then turning around to leave and not getting home until late, finishing homework and then bed routine. It's pretty hard for me to motivate to workout at 9 when I haven't even sat down yet. I will keep pushing to get in everything I can though.

I had a hard time with today's exercise challenge. It really only worked the righ muscles if you were elevated off the floor like they were on the video. I don't have anything like that. I ended up using my bosu which turned it into an ab workout as well to hold my back level but it killed my neck because there was nothing supporting my head.0 -

HUGE HUGSSSS Becky. I hope you feel better today. Yesterday was a hard day for me also. I was snacking for hours last night...just couldn't get enough to eat. I wonder if its cause it is getting soooo gloomy here. I woke up this morning and said..."hey no one can do this except for me" soooo this morning making much healthier choices and moving my butt. You can do this Becky. I have faith in you. Sending you only happy thoughts your way!0 -

Remember I mentioned that Tuesdays and Thursdays are going to be hard. Well, because I forgot to set my alarm so no workout this morning before work, which means no workout today. Sorry team.
I did meet the nutrition challenge, so 5 points is all I got today. No after work committments tomorrow so I can get in a good workout in. I hope everyone had a better day than me.0 -
