Congratulations to all - although I have to say I really like Tina's before and after, it takes talent to look tiny in a puffy coat!

You look awesome! If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you to get to your current weight? I have about the same amount of weight to lose!

Congratulations to you all, you look amazing Seeing all your posts inspires and motivates me to want to keep going on my own fitness journey. I hired a personal trainer 6 weeks ago, down 15 lbs as of today. I'm loving the workouts and seeing the results I've achieved so far.
Thank you for sharing your success stories and have a great week!!9 -

Zero scale difference. Strictly body recomp. I need to take more intentional pics but the second one I thought “geeeeez my clothes are getting too baggy.” Lol

Ugh so sorry. I didn’t mean to attach the second pic and can’t figure out how to edit or delete my comment.4

Before is me at about 260. It was shortly after my workplace went fully remote and because there was no pressure to present myself professionally, I dyed my hair blue (seen here fading to green) and grew a sweet mustache.
I started my new lifestyle on June 10th. This more recent photo is me near 205. I am currently at my target weight of 200, which makes me categorically not obese and lighter then I have been since before high school graduation.
Special thanks to my wife and kids for taking candid photos at comparable angles.

We eventually got me up to 145, a new (and unintentional) PR. She’s a great trainer, but math, not her strong point, lol.39 -
This wasn’t a triumph of willpower. I always had that. It was, instead, a triumph over lifelong medical discrimination and stigma, of being repeatedly disbelieved about my healthy lifestyle because of stereotypes about bodies like mine. Mostly, it was the result of finding a doctor who finally listened and trusted me enough to have a specialist run tests to discover the cause so I could take a targeted approach to healing.
