Ugh so sorry. I didn’t mean to attach the second pic and can’t figure out how to edit or delete my comment.
For future reference, if you spot an error in your post within an hour you can hover your mouse over the post and it will show a little cogwheel at the top right. If you click on that you can edit the post. (Not that the photo was an issue at all.)
Before is me at about 260. It was shortly after my workplace went fully remote and because there was no pressure to present myself professionally, I dyed my hair blue (seen here fading to green) and grew a sweet mustache.
I started my new lifestyle on June 10th. This more recent photo is me near 205. I am currently at my target weight of 200, which makes me categorically not obese and lighter then I have been since before high school graduation.
Special thanks to my wife and kids for taking candid photos at comparable angles.
This wasn’t a triumph of willpower. I always had that. It was, instead, a triumph over lifelong medical discrimination and stigma, of being repeatedly disbelieved about my healthy lifestyle because of stereotypes about bodies like mine. Mostly, it was the result of finding a doctor who finally listened and trusted me enough to have a specialist run tests to discover the cause so I could take a targeted approach to healing.
I love the Before and After threads! You can see the confidence in the After pictures!! Everyone looks so amazing and it is so inspiring!!! Good job everyone!!

What a difference, how much did you lose and how long did it take you?

I'm not some beacon of discipline and hard work... if I can do it you can do it too!
