I wonder what kind of silly clothing Calvin would choose?

Bill Watterson remained adamant throughout the run of his cartooning that he would not commercialize Calvin & Hobbes... He had to be persuaded to do anthologies of the daily comics and he refused to license his images to make products (ie: no stuffed toys etc)... so clearly Calvin is more money-hungry & less principled than his creator.

No wonder he talks to his stuffed tiger; everybody else his age would stare and go 'huh? Weird kid'.
Lol Kinda reminds me of the year I took my ds trick or treating, he was maybe age 5 and he starts talking about robotics to the person handing out candy. Boy, did I get a blank stare.1 -
I think it would be easier if she was a narcissist, she just has no confidence, everything is "OMG what did i do" when all you do is say her name...0 -

For example, my daughter and her grade 1 class all made Halloween themed arts projects back in the day. The kids were asked to name their critters... so my daughter named the bat she made "Echo Location".1 -

That's hard to deal with... especially if you're a coworker, not a supervisor...0 -

I got totally distracted yesterday... long story... so here's Saturday's comic and I'll follow with Sunday's forthwith...
Why Math class, Calvin... that's where you need to focus...
That being said, when I was a kid, the margins of my notebooks were crammed with doodles of cars, motorcycles, you name it... I was smart enough that when the teacher went over things again & again repeatedly that if I didn't distract myself, I might fall asleep at my desk...

I wonder what Susie sees in Calvin? It's hard to imagine there aren't other kids to play with...
