Banana Oatmeal cookies
I experimented with this yesterday and they turned out delicious.
2 bananas
1 apple-peeled
2 cups of old fashioned oatmeal
1/2 tsp of vanilla
1 tsp of cinnamon
stevia/truvia sweetner to taste
Blend Banana and apple together in a blender
Pour into a bowl with oatmeal, cinnamon and vanilla
mix well
1 table spoon per cookie
makes about 36 cookies and are roughly 25 calories per cookie

When you say "oatmeal", do you mean just plain oats, or cooked oats made into oatmeal? Also, should the oats be ground to make a flour?0

Thank you for the recipe. I made these tonight but made a couple of changes. Instead of cookies I baked the mixture in a 9X9 glass baking dish and added pecan and left out the sweetener . Baked at 350 for 25 mins. Yummy!!0

I have tried baking oatmeal and if you want less cookie and more cake like, you can add an egg and teaspoon of baking powder. You can also put in nuts, dried cranberries, cinnamon, etc. you get the idea. I like honey instead of sugar or sweetener. Great as a healthier snack.0
