This thread is for anyone who rides a bicycle ... or unicycle, tricycle, tandem, etc.
Do you bike to work? Do you pull your children to the park? So you ride weekends? Do you spin at home or in the gym? Is Zwift your thing? Do you race crits, ironman, or centuries? Or, are you just starting out and remembering how much fun you had biking when you were a kid? However you choose to push your pedal, you are welcome on this thread.
There's no set challenge across participants - this is a mixed-ability / mixed-experience / everyone welcome group.
Just pick your own target that you want to achieve this month, post that when you join the thread, and post updates throughout the month as you're working towards your target.
Given the current situation many of us will be cycling solo or indoors ... share your accomplishments with us.

Goals for November are to get to 5,000 miles and 1,000 Strava PRs for this year.
As England's gyms close again for a second COVID-19 lockdown my riding will be limited to outdoor rides when the weather is kind.

Got out on the mountain bike yesterday after early morning mist lifted. Hope that lower speed and less wind chill will be kinder to my Raynaud's afflicted hands.
Most of the ride was follow the Thames between Hampton Court and Weybridge.

Managed four days of cycling this week and 120 miles, pretty good weather for November.
Fingers crossed it continues now gyms are shut and I don't have the alternative of bike training indoors.2 -
Crumpin-Zwifter checking in for November Biking, Cycling Challenge.
November Challenge is the first step in firing up fitness for a Spring Bike Tour (optimistically).
Biking to work, play, racing, and vacationing all in the near past.
Time to jump back on the carbon pony, shed my Covid-19 (lbs), re-build endurance and strength for some spectacular hill-climbing come Springtime.
Stage 1 goal: Zwift- FTP Builder, 3-4 days a week (3-5.5 hrs a week)
Throwing out an invite to Challenge members to meet-up on Zwift for Group ride or Group work-out (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays).
Have some flexibility with meet-up time. Options: 6:30 AM, 5:30/6:00 PM (EDT).

Making good progress on my November goals as weather has been pretty reasonable for this time of year.
Deliberately targetting Strava PRs has added an element of fun and also some unexpected training benefit of turning some of my rides into weird interval training - steady, steady, steady, ride like your *kitten* is on fire.....
Four days of riding this week and 105 miles including a lovely 52 mile social ride chatting with a friend starting and finishing in historic Windsor. 243 miles for November.

I'm spending some time with my dad this week (for the first time since February due to travel restrictions) so alternating between fairly easy rides with him and longer steady rides into the mountains. It actually works quite nicely because I'm very much at a low intensity/base stage of training and don't want to overdo it.
Things have escalated a little since I was last out here - he now has 3 bikes and a turbo trainer!3 -

Goals for November are to get to 5,000 miles and 1,000 Strava PRs for this year.
As England's gyms close again for a second COVID-19 lockdown my riding will be limited to outdoor rides when the weather is kind.
Making good progress on my November goals as weather has been pretty reasonable for this time of year.
Deliberately targetting Strava PRs has added an element of fun and also some unexpected training benefit of turning some of my rides into weird interval training - steady, steady, steady, ride like your *kitten* is on fire.....
Four days of riding this week and 105 miles including a lovely 52 mile social ride chatting with a friend starting and finishing in historic Windsor. 243 miles for November.
Goals ticked off.
Took advantage of quieter roads due to lockdown to ride a main road that is part of the Ride London route and normally has a bit too much traffic to enjoy what is otherwise a nice cycling road with loads of elevation changes and lovely views of countryside.

This November is not really a cycling month for me I've only done 24.5km so far, and the month is more than halfway over!
I'm back to mostly working from home, so no commutes. And the weather outside is dreadful... Good resolution for today was a ride in the lunch break, no matter what the weather. I still have two hours to find the motivation to actually do it ^^ - it's quite stormy, and it just started raining again.
I think I need to set up a trainer in my living room! I really need a bigger apartment with space for a home gym...2 -
A couple of big rides into the mountains for me this week - 120km with 2600m of climb and 128km with 2100m. In between I've had some easier rides with my dad so it's been a nice mix. Not looking forward to going back to the cold and dark on Saturday!2

I bought a road bike on November 3rd. My goal is four rides per week for a total of 50 miles (80km). I have good access to trails near my house which are usually clear in the winter. I also own a tandem and went on a ride with my daughter on Tuesday afternoon.3

A good cycling week for me with 150 miles - very unusual for me in winter but I'm conscious the relatively decent weather won't last.
I've decided to reset my annual mileage goal to 5,595 which will be the highest in a year for me, I tend to drift without a specific goal to aim for. Currently on 5,126 so a little bit ahead of the curve.2 -

As my 2020 events got cancelled due to "you know what" I'm having one last attempt at an event in December - a 100km Audax.
Been experimenting with different temperatures and selections of thermal tops and gloves to see what I can tolerate as must expect colder weather than I would normally consider riding in.
4C was too cold and completely lost feeling in hands and feet, going briskly meant the rest of me stayed warm but as soon as I got held up in traffic I quickly got very chilled. Cut the ride short.
5 - 7C was right on the borderline and completed a solo 100km today but felt far harder than the distance normally would.
Keeping ahead of the curve for my mileage goal.
