Total loss for November: The scale is finally coming back down, and the trend will too. It is down a half-pound from mid-week when it was the highest in a couple years. I've been trying to be more mindful and not eat just because I want to eat if I'm not hungry and even if I have lots of tasty food in the house. Even if it's healthy food choices, it's still fuel, and if the tank is full, it won't fit without spilling over.1 -

Total loss for November: Not very much to be perfectly honest. The TrendWeight app says I'm losing about 0.4 pounds per week, but it doesn't really feel like it. I did pretty good over the holiday. Enjoyed lots of different flavors, but kept it under control. I made some experimental pies (potato and onion with a lovely top crust and then a weird tempeh veggie pot pie with some leftover dough). I made cornbread in cast iron, and wisely made care packages for neighbors so I didn't have too much in my house. It's better fresh anyway, and I have ingredients for another batch later this week. My one neighbor said she'd make chili that day. Sounds like a plan!0 -

November 28: 206.4 I’m very happy to be losing during Thanksgiving week and weekend. It has been hard to follow a perfect diet during my move and retirement prep. I am burning extra calories with all the hard work though! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.

Total loss for November: About a half pound by ten-day average. I did NOT meet my November goal. I missed by four pounds and ended up about exactly the same as I started. I know I am in maintenance, but I'm at the top of my maintenance range, so I'm just trying to get back to the middle or bottom. It's those same five pounds I keep gaining and losing. Since that's the definition of maintenance, I guess I should be ok with that. So I'll try.
