What "1 unit (yield from 1 lb ready-to-cook chicken)" means? It is found in the database under MFPs chicken.

    No clue, I just look for a different entry that is closer to what I had. This is when a food scale comes in really handy.

    Think it means the meat only you get from it

    Yeah I am going to get one...guessing has been good so far but I would like to know. Just weird that no one knows what it means...why would they put it in there?

    Ready to cook means "ready to cook" No gutting or defeathering involved.
