How to add barcodes to recipes

Has anyone figured out how to add barcodes to recipes we’ve created? I really can’t find it anywhere but see many people doing it!

    As far as I’m aware you can’t, but I’m curious where you’re seeing many people doing it?

    Also somewhat curious why it’s something you want to be able to do?

    What purpose would this serve? There's no barcode to scan so having a barcode associated to a recipe wouldn't save any time.

    Looking to see if you've been able to see how to create the barcodes... I would like it for when I create a bunch of healthy protein bars for my husband... this way he can just scan the barcode of whatever one he takes that day... would definitely make life easier!!
