I would never steal a tool.
If I took a tool, that means I would want to actually do some work around the house.

I think you’re missing out on a good time. First, you borrow tools, rip out half a wall, leave the tools there, then walk away to do research for another six months while simultaneously ripping out a floor in a different part of the house. Apparently it’s quite satisfying.5 -
