Got a female friend who's just trying to start weight lifting. She has some of the stereotypical notions that most women do about "bulking up" if they use heavier weights. I tried Googling a good article for it, but got a lot of meh hits. Does anyone have a good article I can show her?

If it's the right type of woman, just dare her to get huge and prove you wrong ;^)0

There is also a book out there called "The New Rules of Lifting for Women: Lift like a Man, look Like a goddess". Great book.0

I just briefly scanned this one, but it looked interesting. Weight training is a must for anyone that wants to trim down and lose weight. Our muscles are calorie eating machines!

Bodybuilding .com. There is a section for women about this.0

I don't know why other women are soooo scared of that! You are not going to look like one of those women in the competitions who are TOO big! Muscle definition is sexy and I would like to look like I am not a wimp. That is why I am strength training!0

There are several articles on elitefts.com about women not wanting to train with weights, all written by women who train heavy, and look awesome.0
