Similar to the last movie thread...
What show/series are you watching, or have you recently finished?
The Politician (netflix) - just OK
Unbelievable (netflix) - good, but not a must binge.
Inasmuch as I tried to not view it at all, only to end up watching HBO's "The Vow," trying to unwatch it, often too stunned in parts to disengage my curiosity, despite it being rather dragged pace-wise for my liking, it is worth watching if you've at some points in your life crossed "cult-like" invites you unknowingly evaded or exited early enough before the saturation@immersions.0 -
American Horror Story 19841

Defying Gravity0

altered carbon - its a cool concept but a little on the trippy side for what I usually like. Hanging in there for now and giving it a shot1

100 Days Wild, Hell on Wheels0
-
I May Destroy You, Ray Donovan, The Chi, Black Monday and The Conners.0

Wicked, Wicked Good

It's a "family show" for me... watching it with my wife and, more notably, my 18-yr-old daughter. It's different from what we typically watch, and really pushes my comfort zone watching with my daughter as far as sexual content goes (some would say I can be kind of prude-ish). I'm sure none of it is new or noteworthy to her, but there's a line of appropriateness for what fathers/daughters should watch together... and this show smashes into the line once or twice an episode.
The way they are telling the story is the most interesting part for me.
We're 3 episodes in, FWIW, and seems to be a mix of a typical teenage female angst/drama show and Lord of the Flies.0 -
Your honour.. it’s on crave.
And let me tell yah, what a rush of emotions.0 -

oh yea... also watching this! Definitely recommend waiting until all shows are released and binging them. Week-to-week sucks for this one.0 -

Oh it really does! But at the same time it’s nice to have the time to recover after watching an episode, haha.
So dang good.1 -

Just finished binging all three seasons of Killing Eve. Prior to that binged The Mandalorian. Really enjoyed DC's Titans, Doom Patrol and cartoon Harley Quinn. HBO's The Outsider, Lovecraft Country and Watchmen. So many more, lol.0

Was looking at the content review on IMDb. I cringe when there are shows that feature high school teens and there is a lot of sex and nudity. I heard Euphoria is the same way. On one hand we campaign against child porn and yet we promote/push shows like this. Cobra Kai doesn't have nudity but one of the main characters, a 16-yr old daughter (in Season 1) is being taunted at school about oral sex. The taunting is graphic, IMO.
So far, The Wilds doesn't have any nudity. But the sexual references are pretty blunt/crass.
One girl (with zero dating experience) asks another girl (whose whole world is centered around sex) for relationship advice. The advice given:- skip the handie
- dry humping is underrated
- I forget the third... might have been: always have lube
That's a little much for me. That's A LOT much for me when watching with my daughter.0 -
Just finished season 1 of The Good Place. I'm a huge fan of The Office and now that it's off Netflix, I needed something else to satisfy my humor cravings. It's pretty funny. Some great performances there!2

Unless you have Kleenex.
Unless you have Kleenex.
You're gonna need that Kleenex.
😀
My nephew and I were big Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans and were watching an episode together one Thanksgiving.
In this episode, Buffy (the vampire slayer) and Spike (the vampire) were going at it in this house. It was pretty funny because, since both obviously have super strength, the house started to crumble and fall apart. Anyway, my nephew was about 16 or 17 at the time and it was sorta embarrassing to watch with him.0
