If you were addicted, or had to be addicted to a healthy food, what is it?

Why do we always get addicted to the bad stuff? Or at least it seems this way.
For me, I think it would be apples.
You?

Beans, I guess. I already eat them 4-5 times a week.
I wish I liked fruit more. I don't dislike it, but don't like it enough to want it regularly.2 -
Vegan pizza with gluten-free crust
Black bean brownies
Dry roasted edamame
Mango rice
Quinoa pilaf with currents and almond slivers
Banana ice cream

I agree! Easy to make some totally delicious treats healthfully.
But, I'm already 'addicted' to whole foods too....vegetables in particular!2 -

I am currently so obsessed with cabbage! Never really had it until a few months ago and it's my current favorite food. I'll probably eat it until I burn myself out then move onto something else, but I love it! And you're right. You can eat massive amounts for super low calories. 👍👍1 -

I've been on the same obsession....it's red cabbage for me - it's an everyday (if not every meal) thing for me for the last year! lol2 -

Do you eat it cooked or raw? I like cooked with corned beef buy raw overall. I eat it with salt. Now I am going to add this to my grocery list👍👍1 -
Salad generally, but I already adore them. Cooked greens, and same.1

Cooked. First I had it a few times in the air fryer as "cabbage steaks" (which come out amazing BTW), but now I generally just slice it into strips (600g) and saute it in a pan. I don't use oil or anything. I just add a few squirts of liquid smoke while it's cooking. Then after I put it in a bowl I put G. Hughes Sweet Chili sauce over it. So so good. I've been having it almost every night for dinner for a few months now without signs of burnout yet. I just switch up my sides with it every night.2 -
I love to cook bacon, then sauté cabbage in a little bacon grease.
I also love it in stew.
And raw, sliced very thin for salad.

I never had cabbage steak. I will have to try that! Sounds good! Thanks for the info!1 -
I'm addicted to tea (just plain with no milk or sugar). Most of the beverages I drink in a day are tea or iced tea.
I also find raspberries to be pretty addictive. I can't eat just part of the box and then put it away. If I buy a box, the entire box is getting eaten at once, probably on the same day I bought it. Of course, since raspberries are so expensive and not in season for that long, I can't have them as often as I would like.
Also, any type of unsweetened chocolate. I put cocoa powder (like the plain unsweetened kind used for baking) in everything. And one of my favorite healthy snacks is unsweetened baking chocolate chips with dates or berries.2 -

Lol! I had gone on a diet in high school and all I ate was old fashioned oats, canned pumpkin, lettuce, few slices lean packaged turkey, one grahm cracker and sugar free jello. Well... I wore out on pumpkin! Lol!
