Our weight fluctuates daily 1-5lbs so no I don't since it changes so much. If I see a gain above 5lbs then yeah I will but thankfully that has not happened.

I gained 2 lbs. recently and didn't log it - it's still there a week later so I know it must be real weight. I'm not going to log it, I'm just going to lose it and pick up where I left off. I know what I've been doing wrong.

No, I don't weigh gains. I have been in a constant state of calorie deficit since January, I know the little gains I have are not from increasing fat - so I disregard them.

If I were to ever fall off the wagon and gain five, ten, whatever pounds then I'd log it --- but that's never gonna happen.

I weigh daily and log any changes that are with me two days in a row, up or down.

I weigh myself every Monday just to make sure i haven't gained anything but don't log that into my fitness pal. I only log one a week on thursday or friday and it's whatever the number is.

I weigh in once a week every Saturday morning. I log my weight whether it shows a loss or a gain. I know during TOM my weight goes up 1-3 lb, but it disappears as soon as it's over. I end up losing the water weight and more. Also if I ate something with a high sodium content the scale interprets it as a gain. I only pay attention to the trend. As long as it's moving in a downward direction then I know i'm doing everything right. It would be impossible to gain 1 lb of fat when I have a 1700 cal deficit (weekly).
If the scale shows a gain it's either water retention or constipation weight

Thanks everyone. I did log in my weight gain of 1.6lbs even though it is TOM. I didn't realize we could gain weight TOM.

I log my gains for a couple of reasons. To learn from my patterns and to feel better about myself when I lose the gain.
