Hey there! I'm not 100% new to MFP as I've used it in the past to lose pregnancy weight. I have 5 children and I'm struggling to lose weight after my 5th was born thanks to injuries I sustained during his birth followed by chronic illness/side effects from the Mirena, and a Rheumatoid arthritis diagnoses. I have been on Prednisone for a year among other meds that have made weight loss challenging. I have lost and regained many pounds over the last year. I recently removed the Mirena when my doctor realized my symptoms are most likely side effects and will hopefully be weaning off Prednisone in the next month. It's been a roller coaster, but I'm committed to getting healthy and feeling better. I've always lost in the past with diet and exercise, but my mobility is reduced tremendously, so I have to rely mostly on diet alone for the first time ever. I try to walk when I'm able, but some days require a mobility device and it's tough to feel motivated to walk around my neighborhood with a walking cane while in pain. I hope to get connected to folx who might have similar challenges... Especially those who are overcoming them.

@Iwannabeapunkrockmom I have been on and off here for years and I will get close to my goal and then stop and gain it plus more back, I have lost 66lbs so far and want to lose 20lbs more. I also have a bad back, I have 4 herniated disc. I am counting calories and low carbs. Just remember to log everything you put in your mouth and stay below your calorie goal each day and you will lose weight. You can do this!!! Never give up on yourself!!!1 -
Thank you so much for your encouraging words! Your progress is inspiring! I will remember your advice❤️1
