    GenZ are the ones who brought it back and made it hip again. They love the 90s high waisted.. everything.

    Low rise will soon come back..if it’s not already. Early 2000s, wide leg, juicy couture, rhinestones, terry cloth is happening again. Low rise pants is not something I’m looking forward to.

    Yes! Some of us actually wear high waist items because when the waist band sits mid-rise or low-rise, it aggravates our GI condition.

    The day I discovered high waist skirts/jeans was the day I never went back to mid-rise because it makes a difference in terms of IBS relief (for me).

    You can get the wide legs taken in. Then you have a lovely pair of high waisted jeans at fairly minimal cost addition.

    You can even have them tapered to look best for your particular shape.

    Totally agree. I have a bunch of old magazines for my collage making and was looking through 2002-2007 fashion mags and thought ohhhh lord no wonder I felt extra tubby at that time. So unflattering.
    I am relatively tall & have the huge hips and bum with smaller waist type of body. Much better suited to high waisted stuff!

    Gen Z is the one's who brought it back, along with "mom jeans". It'll flip again...right now we're just doing the late 80s/early 90s again. High top sneakers...tight rolled jeans, etc.

    As a tall person I welcome the return of normal waist pants because the damn things will actually stay up like they're supposed to. Low rise always ended up lower than they should have been and had to get tugged back up constantly.

    I've found a cute pair of high waisted wide legged jean on amazon...however I think if I was a size 2 it'd still be hard to pull off...feels like you can't have too big or small of a butt or legs

    This is my aesthetic now and forever. I don't know about full bells but I'm a sucker for a high-waisted flare jean. My closet has at least 4 pairs and counting 🤷🏾‍♀️

    I usually rock camo-print elephant bell bottoms with a yellow nylon braided rope for a belt.
