When do I weigh?

I don't know when to weigh things. . . like pasta, cooked or dry?
The meat for tomorrows lunch cooked or raw?
Veggies raw or steamed?

    raw for meat. Not sure about pasta.

    At least I was told to weigh meat raw.

    Does it say 1/2 cup DRY pasta and then list the nutrients...
    Or are the nutrients listed for 1/2 cup COOKED.

    Most things are dry/out of the box.

    Things like chicken don't really matter... they weigh the same before/after.

    i weigh everything cooked because that's how you are going to eat them is cooked.

    if you look at MOST (not all) nutrition labels the cooked is normally higher in calories/fat etc than if eaten dry... well i don't think you will be eating pasta or meat dry/uncooked lol...

    yeah that's what I was going to say. I check the box and weigh things after they are cooked if the box says so. but otherwise I weigh most things raw. :) Good luck!
