If you’re in your 50s you guys know how hard it can be not only to lose weight but to gain muscle. But I’m here to tell you that it’s very doable. Let it rip today my fine aged friends! And, don’t give up and definitely track your calories and be honest. It’s the only way to really keep it under control.

You're absolutely right. And the same goes for those in their 60s, 70s, 80s, and beyond. You'll even find them here - being inspiring as all get out - on MFP.1

You betcha! I lost 40 pounds at 58, and here I am at 67 in better shape than ever. It takes some work and adjustment, but it is absolutely doable.1

55 here and still working at it. i been yo yo-ing for a few years now, but am it a good mindset lately to keep moving forward. Good luck to everyone and keep chugging along!0
