Third time’s a charm

This is my third time “rejoining” MFP. The first time was awesome. Second time, I fell off the wagon pretty quick. Third time is a charm, right?
Me: I work in higher Ed and went from a very active teaching life with lots of walking to a sit in front of a computer monitor teaching life. My job is stressful, and I work long hours in front of that monitor. I need a change and get a hold of this. I’m 48, happily married, mom of 2 teens. A geek at heart, I love to play games, read, cook and sew.
I’ve already started making some changes in the past year. I gave up added sugar, enjoyed the Whole Life Challenge, started to practice yoga, walk nightly with my husband, and found a little success losing weight (or at least not gaining the lockdown pounds), but I have a ways to go. I know I’m most successful when I have support of friends online, so I am looking to build a new support community.

That's great. I'm also returning again and 55 this summer. From the uk and live all crafts and sewing. Quite active and walk 10k steps daily but still struggle with weight.
