An uber-fit friend of mine has been recommending that I take wheatgerm either in dry form or in shots. Has anyone incorporated it into their diet and found it any good?

I add dry wheat germ to baked goods and smoothies. It has a bitter taste so I "hide" it in foods. Not sure exactly what it does, but I've heard it's great for health too.0

I put wheat germ in my protein shakes, I tried in my oatmeal but it gives it a gritty taste. It has vitamin E and folic acid in it and I find it helps with my digestion (if you know what I mean)!0
